people live and they want to achieve things. they want to obtain and accumulate mostly. or not ? if you boiled down the meaning behind these urges. I don't, at least not here, or maybe have everyone dead? seems odd or extreme. so why?
The Game
lets take a trivial example, something everyone can relate to or is simple enough. A video game. Your playing this game and essentially the map is not wide enough to have an interesting or engaging round. the total time of the match does not give you abilities to take position and meaningfully engage. So what happens if you intend to do so is getting you ranked at the bottom of the team ranking.
You can watch and have engaged before how the usual match consist of players smashing against another at close distance and that's it. So its slop, there is no real reason to play such a game, its also a grind and urges your cash to win.
we can un-install it hence. so now go and uninstall your life. why don't you? think. the concept is the same.
The Ratio
Life does not have to be bad, or like the game i described before. But you are coerced. Because the power ratio to you and the rest of the world is 1 to infinity. Why infinity? Because other people multiply i.e. procreate. To stop it you must resort to what i initially mentioned : "maybe have everyone dead".
So what are you doing here still? Being the same as these others ? That seems like self betrayal. The life experienced is a constant drag if so, its plastic i.e. "surreal"/against yourself your living.
So why all of this? Why are we discontent?
Recon the game? You are coerced. If you intend to do things as you like, you will face an infinite amount of ratio on the other side counter weighting in any matter of all different forms.
The Bachelor
I give you some personal example, because im not much of a gamer. I used to write a bachelor, its was done with python on the datascience side, i found the conclusion and could phrase everything cleanly in 2.000 words. They wanted 10.000 words, else they would shit on the entire paper, and remove me.
So i made it 10.000 words by polluting it. There was nothing more to add after 2000. The paper became inflated with useless things and sentences being lengthened. It was crap, and they demanded it.
Thats academia, where quality should matter. But it doesent, thats not the world we live in. Its not the game we play and you cant choose. What do you want to do ? Say that the results were found ? Yes you can. And then ? ...? removed.
A World of Quantity
Its very simple. recon the ratio i mentioned before. Your living in a world guided by crap. By quantity. And equally are the people like so. Its what becomes rewarded.
I stand in line at the grocery store (at the cashier) and i can tell you why people look the way they do. This is what is bought, this is what sells, this is what the people are.
But importantly why am i coerced to experience this? I didn't ask to look at the fat 9yo kid from the Balkans having their slop food slide towards the cashier while its mom is holding a phone call. Never asked for this.
On Food
Another example since we are at food now. People pay a lot at restaurants, about 3 to more times than the food costs itself. In this case im sticking with a chicken leg or ground beef.
Chicken leg is 6euros (organic), 4 euros for a cheap one approx. 340gram (that's two legs) If you go to a restaurant you paying 13-15 euros.
Yes you also pay for the service and the rest ; im aware. But do you notice what it means to eat something that has been fried in a seed oil which is consistently boiled several times a day ?
Why do you pay for this? Its crap. Lets tak about sugar, oh nooooo. the low hanging fruit is tackled.

The Conclusion
So what's the solution ? Well how about this world would not swim in carp? BUT. The people demand what they are. And you are coerced to stick with them.
